They come pre-assembled and will require time to put together but we have no issue against how firm and well-made their products are. One thing you may want to note is CR10S will consume more space as its board and power supply is located away from the main printer.

Ender 5 Pro and CR10S Power

Many of us open their printers when getting the machine and the first thing you may notice about these two is their power board because they have different ratings at 115-230V and output of 24V compared to 100-220V with output of 12V so make sure to check it as well when looking for replacement. This difference may affect their performance in a way because chances are your Ender 5 Pro will be able to heat its bed faster than CR10S, moreover, the latter also has a wider bed.

The latter also has a new main board and this allows the printer to have filament run-out sensor that are crucial for bigger machines like this.

Ender 5 Pro and CR10S Performance 

Now let’s talk about the performance of these printers and for the print quality, we do think they are about the same, at least this is what our eyes see. The details are the same, some string here and there that are pretty normal and can be removed with hot gun but right out of the bed they are amazing and if you have the Ender 3, we are pretty sure the print result are also this good which is why going with Creality is a safe bet for almost anyone.

One thing we need to upgrade if choosing CR10S is the Bowden tube because this model still comes with the standard, white, transparent tube which is less uniform on the inside so replacing it with Capricorn tube is a great basic upgrade we will do.

Ender 5 Pro vs CR10S

Both of them are good options but are also different but in our opinion the prominent difference is only on their built volume because we can’t build the same size models on Ender 5 Pro and the other differences that may affect your decision is additional filament run-out sensor which is very useful especially on machine that can build a large model like CR10S. Performance wise they are identical and the print quality is also equally amazing.
